What We Believe
Mission Statement
The purpose of our Church and Congregation is (founded upon the scriptural instructions given in Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28:16-20):
to guide all people into accepting the gift of salvation from God through Jesus Christ, our Saviour,
to bring people into fellowship with other believers,
to prepare and encourage believers in the work of ministry, and
to honour God with our lives.

Preamble
Bethel Mennonite Church affirms that:
• the Bible is the infallible Word of God with “supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct”;
• all people “have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Therefore we enter all such discussions with appropriate humility and normal human limitation upon holistic understanding; and,
• “a Christian should live for the glory of God”, sincerely endeavoring to
engage in behaviours that reflect the person of Jesus Christ.
