This morning, July 8 we received an email from Pat & Rad Houmphan
This morning, July 8 we received an email from Pat & Rad Houmphan, missionaries to Thailand whom Bethel Church supports. They have asked the church to pray with them through the death of Pat’s father in Winnipeg yesterday. Please remember them at this most difficult time.
Dear Prayer Partners,
We are sad to let you know that Pat’s father has passed away on July 7th morning with the heart attack.
It’s seems like not too long ago that Rad just lost her parents and now is Pat’ Dad. We haven’t seen him for
almost 2 years and Pat is looking forward to visiting him again this Sept on our furlough time. So, it’s very
hard for us as missionaries to keep loosing our loved one which we didn’t get chance to say good-bye to our
loved one. Please remember us in your prayers especially for Pat in this time. Pray for His comfort and special
peace in this difficult times. Pat is traveling back to Winnipeg starting tomorrow. The funeral will be held
on Saturday, July 11 at a funeral home in Winnipeg. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
Lovingly in Christ,
Rad and Pat

Dear Friends of George Schmidt,
Our dear friend George passed away peacefully at 6:40 am today. As friends of George, we all know that “he has left a legacy of people whose lives have been enriched, strengthened, and changed by his love, loyalty and friendship.”
George and I were teenagers when we met at the Greendale First Mennonite Church. Our friendship has grown more and more meaningful over the years and the TRIBUTES you find attached really summarize his contribution to a great number of people worldwide. Karen and her family will treasure these recorded memories of their dad and grandfather. Thanks again for your contributions.
