BMC Family Camp – Special Announcement

We are very excited for our Family Camp weekend on September 25 – 27.  Please have a look at the brochure, which will also be available in the church foyer by Sunday, September 6.   Please note that there will be 2 changes to the attached brochure.

Family Camp Brochure 2009

1.  The brochure shows 3 accommodation options, but there will be a 4th option, which is the new buildings at Camp; Emory Lodge and Fraser Lodge.

2.  The actual registration deadline is Thursday, September 10.  (1 week from now)

If you cannot get the registration and deposit in by the deadline, at least email the registration details, as noted on page 1 of the attached, by Sept. 10.  However, if you can have your registration and deposit ready for Sunday, September 6, that would be great.  Please hand the form and funds in to Haedy Dyck, Nancy Girard or Linda Hoock.

We hope many will be able to come to Camp Squeah this year for a weekend of fun and fellowship!

This morning, July 8 we received an email from Pat & Rad Houmphan

This morning, July 8 we received an email from Pat & Rad Houmphan, missionaries to Thailand whom Bethel Church supports. They have asked the church to pray with them through the death of Pat’s father in Winnipeg yesterday. Please remember them at this most difficult time.

Dear Prayer Partners,

We are sad to let you know that Pat’s father has passed away on July 7th morning with the heart attack.
It’s seems like not too long ago that Rad just lost her parents and now is Pat’ Dad.  We haven’t seen him for
almost 2 years and Pat is looking forward to visiting him again this Sept on our furlough time.  So, it’s very
hard for us as missionaries to keep loosing our loved one which we didn’t get chance to say good-bye to our
loved one.  Please remember us in your prayers especially for Pat in this time.  Pray for  His comfort and special
peace in this difficult times.  Pat is traveling back to Winnipeg starting tomorrow.  The funeral will be held
on Saturday, July 11 at a funeral home in Winnipeg.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.

Lovingly in Christ,
Rad and Pat
